The Ultimate in Relaxation

People are always looking for tips on how to get a better nights sleep, naturally. Essential oils can help you have better, deeper and longer sleep but one of the most effective ways is to prepare your body for a good night sleep.

The easiest, and most cost efficient way, is to take a warm bath but not an ordinary bath, an essential oil infused bath.

Sharing one of my favourite recipes below, I love it for those cold nights or just simply to calm my body before bedtime.

In a bowl, mix;

1 cup of Epsom Salt

¼ cup of baking soda

5-8 drops of essential oils. I recommend adding Lavender, eucalyptus globulus or Ylang Ylang.

Add water to the bowl and stir. Once all diluted, add directly underneath the faucet while water is running.

Careful not to use any oils that are dermocaustics (could be damaging the skin) such as cinnamon, clove, peppermint, thyme.

Then, diffuse your favourite essential oil blend, turn off your cellphone, put the kids to bed, put on some music and slip into visions of total relaxation.
