When I feel congested, I feel that I just can’t function normally which means, keeping those sinuses open is important.

If you enjoy going to the spa and feel fresh and you can actually breath better, it’s probably because they used eucalyptus… now we can have the same feeling at home by making a homemade chest rub.

Chest Rub

¼ cup coconut oil
8 drops Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil
8 drops Lemon essential oil
8 drops Peppermint essential oil

Mix all ingredients together and apply to chest, below the nose and under the feet.

Night Time cough relief

What do you think is the most common question that we get at this time of year (January-February) after the famous “I can’t sleep, what can I do?” or “I can’t breathe, my sinuses are all blocked, what can I do?’’ When our nose is runny, that’s actually a good thing and we should not try to stop it. However, when it’s all blocked, it’s hard to breath, sleep, and the most important, we can’t taste anything.

The chest rub is amazing when it comes to daytime, however, what can we do for night time? Diffuser to the rescue. Here is a very simple recipe that you could use to finally have a good night sleep, even if your entire respiratory system is blocked.

Fill your diffuser with distilled water and add:
3 Drops Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil
2 Drops Lavender essential oil

Start your diffuser 30 minutes before going to bed to prepare your room and voilà !
