DIY – Pumpkin preserving spray!

There is absolutely no worse feeling coming up to Halloween than seeing those big bright eyes looking up at you filled with tears because they worked so hard on their pumpkins and now they’re turning into a black mess on your porch.

And it’s not even the 31st yet.

Let’s avoid that this year, k?

Grab a spray bottle, fill it with water.

Add 1 teaspoon of liquid Castile soap (unscented or peppermint) andĀ 10 drops of Peppermint essential oil. You’ll want to get the stuff that works so get your essential oils here.

Spray the inside and outside of your pumpkin thoroughly once you’re done carving it. Make sure to get the spray in the holes that you carved out too.

By the way… If you’re going to buy the Castile soap for the first time, get the unscented one. You’re going to be able to use it in a lot more recipes than the peppermint scented soap.
